The November Farmers’ Market at the Switchyard Park Pavilion is going to be run together by the Bloomington Winter Farmers’ Market and the City of Bloomington this year. It will take place Nov 4, 11 and 18.  Though we are running the market together for those 3 weeks, we will each be administering our own application and selection process.

The BWFM application and selection process will proceed as it always has, with the option to add November to the main season (December - March). Please fill out the application as usual.

If you currently vend at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market, you can apply for the November market with your application or with the BWFM application. However, if you intend to vend December - March with the BWFM, you MUST fill out the BWFM application. Contact our Market Manager with any questions.

We have several vending options from full season to daily.

Apply Here:

There are four different applications - click the appropriate type to apply:

  1. Farmers -  A Farmer is defined as one who grows produce, animal products, or other agricultural products in Indiana.

  2. Prepared Foods - A Prepared Food vendor is defined as one who prepares food from scratch using ingredients that he/she has not grown or raised.

  3. Exotic - An Exotic Food vendor is defined as one who raises, produces, or catches food outside of Indiana.

  4. Other - This category of vendor is defined as one who sells soap, crafts, pet food, or other items as appropriate to the mission of the market.

If you feel you fit two vendor categories, please ask us which to complete, or fill out both applications.

Notes

Applications submitted without the application fee will NOT be reviewed until the fee is received. In addition, applications received after August 18th will lose priority for space location and number of vending days, regardless of vendors’ previous involvement with the Bloomington Winter Farmers’ Market.

Your application is not complete until you hit the SUBMIT button. This will be followed by a message noting your application has been recorded. Additionally, the Market Manager will personally send confirmation of the receipt of your application, and then of your application fee, both via email.

All vendors must list products they intend to sell in their initial application. Value added products, non-foods and prepared foods not listed on the initial application must be submitted to the selection committee for approval on the Additional Product Application.

In cases when the market needs a product to enhance diversity, or when a new vendor is needed to fill an unreserved spot, the Board may permit the selection committee to admit a new vendor applicant with a restriction of products (Limited Product Producers [LPP]). LPPs will sign an addendum to the initial application to outline the restrictions.

Please read the BWFM 2023-24 Vendor Policies

We will notify you the week of September 17, 2023 with our decision regarding your application. If you are accepted, your annual fees, all licenses, permits, certificates of insurance, and additional documents are to be postmarked by October 6, 2023, no exceptions. Failure to do so will result in a possible loss of your place in the Market and may be filled by another vendor.
