Joint November Market with City
For a second year, in a spirit of cooperation, the Bloomington Winter Farmers’ Market and Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market will co-host the November market at Switchyard Park. As in 2023, this promises to be a unique and exciting experience where both organizations can mutually benefit as we provide our customers with an ample variety of fresh produce and other local products.
Indoor booth spaces may be smaller and will only be assigned as single booths. Outdoor single and double booth spaces will be available. Booth spaces will be $24 per day, unless you opt to be a day vendor. (See fees below.) Booth spaces will be assigned by joint market management with consideration for returning vendors and previous space assignments whenever possible.
Please note, being a day vendor will not automatically ensure that you will get a booth space inside the pavilion. It is highly recommended to communicate your vending plans by the Monday of the week you plan to vend.
Vendor Types
We accept the following types of vendors:
-
Farmers - A farmer is defined as one who grows produce, animal products, or other agricultural products in Indiana.
-
Prepared Food & Beverage - A prepared food and beverage vendor is defined as one who prepares food or beverages from scratch using ingredients that he/she has not grown or raised. This category includes Food Trucks.
-
Exotic - An exotic vendor is defined as one who raises, produces, or catches food outside of Indiana.
-
Other - This category of vendor is defined as one who sells soap, crafts, pet food, or other items, or provides a service, as appropriate to the mission of the market.
If you feel you fit two vendor categories, please fill out both applications or contact us with questions.
Vending Schedules and Fees
We have several vending schedule options from full season to daily. These fees apply to all vendors except food trucks (see below).
Food Truck Fees
Food Truck vendors will be charged $45 per market. This is our $20 per day fee plus the City of Bloomington’s fee of $25 per food truck per day. Please list all dates you would like to vend on your application.

All vendors must list products they intend to sell in their initial application. Value added products, non-foods and prepared foods not listed on the initial application must be submitted to the selection committee for approval on the Additional Product Application.
Applications will not be reviewed until the application fee is received.
We will notify you by September 15, 2024 with our decision regarding your application. If you are accepted, your annual fees, all licenses, permits, certificates of insurance, and additional documents must be postmarked by October 1, 2024. Failure to submit required documents will result in a possible loss of your place in the market, which may be filled by another vendor.

We look forward to working with you!
