Our goal at Salt Creek Angus is to provide you with the best meat quality available, all while providing a humane living environment for our herd as they move through the process. We grow grass-fed, grain-finished Pure Black Angus beef. We take great pride in hand-selecting the sires and choose them for various factors, including docility, making them safer to be around; ease of calving, which makes the calves smaller and easier for cows/heifers to give birth safely; beef qualities, such as marbling score, ribeye score, fat score. All these and more are important traits and prove NOT all cows are equal, which is why some cost more than others.
